Coaching Philosophy

I believe that a sense of fulfillment and balance comes when our professional and personal lives are aligned with our values, identities, and strengths. I serve as a curious thought-partner who asks hard questions, and provides the structure and accountability to allow my clients to use their own knowledge and expertise to support reflection, problem-solving, and goal attainment.

As a coach, I partner primarily with academics who are highly successful based on many external metrics, yet feel that they are often just managing day-to-day without the time or space to be truly intentional about the work they want to accomplish. I work with them to discover and then focus on what is most important to them so that their work becomes more fulfilling and their life becomes more balanced. I also work with leaders who are looking to grow their skills in directing, influencing, and managing people, while staying true to their priorities and vision.
