Take a Data-Based Approach to Your Career Development

Self-awareness is a key component to effective leadership and a cornerstone of emotional intelligence. The HERS 360 Leadership Assessment provides women in higher education with a data-rich assessment of their leadership capabilities, as well as one-on-one coaching to fully utilize the results of their 360 feedback and put action plans in place.

Each offering of this program operates within the context of its cohort’s specific role or discipline in higher education and integrates personalized solutions to fit your institution type and organizational culture. However, the curriculum of each offering is rooted in 50+ years of Lominger Voices®1 analytics and research spanning 69 million professional assessments across 67 competencies. Learning Outcomes
1. Increase Self-Awareness
Receive honest, non-threatening and anonymous feedback on your behavioral strengths and weaknesses from superiors, peers, subordinates and partners. With your newfound clarity on what makes your leadership powerful and where there are opportunities to improve, you can determine how you want to adjust the ways you show up as a leader.

2. Establish Measurements and Benchmarks
Measuring how a project is accomplished is as important as measuring the outcome, for only then can you see how your behavior impacts the process and others involved. Learn to measure the ‘how’ and work with a coach to establish benchmarks, based on data from your higher education peers, to assess your leadership over time.

3. Create an Action Plan for Personal Development
Utilize the feedback you received from the assessment to grow and maximize your efficiency as a leader. Participants will create a strong action plan to continue their leadership development after the workshop, using their benchmarks to determine success. Through the assessment and action plan, you will come to own your personal development.

Co-Facilitator — Kinetic Insights
Kinetic Insights has 15 years of experience in strategic coaching, helping leaders break out of the ordinary to exceed expectations. Their coaches are credentialed by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and certified in the application and analysis of the Lominger VOICES 360 assessment. Your 360 feedback can and will be calibrated to your specific cohort, enabling you to learn what separates success from derailment for leaders in your role, region and institutional culture. Participants will be given the opportunity to work with a coach one-on-one to process, understand and own the data from their assessment.

Who Should Register for the 360 Leadership Assessment?
Women faculty and staff in higher education who are seeking or currently hold a leadership role within their institution. Women in their mid-to-late career stand to benefit the most from the 360 assessment, as they have more experiences to reflect on and can immediately put their learning outcomes into practice within their institutional role.
