Job Summary

The role of the Director of the Panther Fund/Assistant Athletic Director for the Panther Fund is to support all Athletics fundraising efforts, including, but not limited to: Donor stewardship and cultivation; Event planning; Data management; Gift processing; and Annual fund solicitation. This individual will work closely with the Associate Athletic Director of Development to develop a multi-year fundraising plan that addresses major gift and annual fund goals each year. This position will be responsible for providing the strategic direction for the department annual fund and related events.

The incumbent shall know, recognize, and comply with the laws, policies, rules and regulations governing University and its employees, and the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”) and the applicable Conference, as now constituted or as they may be amended during the Term of this agreement. The employee shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that all assistant coaches, and any other employees for whom Employee is administratively responsible, comply with aforesaid policies, rules, and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least two (2) years work experience in a college athletics department

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• At least one (1) year experience in collegiate athletics fundraising
• Experience launching an Annual Fund campaign
• Experience working with season ticket-associated donations
• Familiarity with NCAA rules, specifically those related to donor relations
• Demonstrated ability to manage events
• Demonstrated ability to manage several tasks with astute organization
