Cardiac Intensivist/Director, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit – Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School

Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, is recruiting a full-time academic Cardiologist to serve as a Cardiac Intensivist and as the Director of Cardiovascular Critical Care. The candidate must be board-certified/eligible in Cardiology and Critical Care Medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary team providing care to patients with cardiovascular disease who need medical and surgical management of their illness. Experience in cardiac mechanical support therapies is desirable. A strong commitment to clinical care, education and research are essential. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and record of academic achievement in scholarship, research, and undergraduate and graduate medical education.
