Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering The Mechanical Engineering Department at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the general area of Mechanical Engineering, appointment effective from Fall 2024. Salary and appointment at the Assistant Professor level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Duties and responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and providing service to the department, college, and university. The candidate must also be able to teach most of the core courses offered in the department, including courses from the freshman through the graduate level. The candidate must show a commitment and a record of contributions to student success through teaching, scholarly work, or service.
